Oncology social workers are licensed professionals who can help you better understand your diagnosis and support you and your family’s social needs. Our goal is to help you and your family manage all phases of your cancer journey and maintain continuity of care with other services.

Oncology social workers can:

• Help you and your loved ones understand your diagnosis and treatment as well as how cancer can impact your daily activities.
• Help you cope through relaxation exercises and supportive counseling.
• Connect you to support groups.
• Refer you for financial resources, home health, transportation assistance, hospice, etc.
