Woman’s Hospital Earns Three of The Advocate’s Best of Baton Rouge Awards

BATON ROUGE, La - Woman’s Hospital has been named The Advocate’s 2025 Best of Baton Rouge Gold Award winner for Best Place to Have a Baby. Woman’s was also recognized for Best Hospital (Bronze), and Woman’s Cancer Pavilion as the Best Cancer Treatment Center (Silver). This is The Advocate’s first year presenting the awards.

 

“Woman’s is thankful to The Advocate and Baton Rouge community for honoring us with these outstanding recognitions,” said Woman’s President and CEO Rene Ragas. “We are truly grateful to be the provider of choice for women’s healthcare, and this recognition highlights the trust patients place in our compassionate and highly trained team.”

 

The Advocate’s Best of Baton Rouge Award features more than 200 categories. Members of the community were invited to show support and vote for local businesses they believe provide quality service.

Woman’s is a specialty hospital for women and infants located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since opening in 1968, it has welcomed more than 375,000 babies, making it one of the largest delivery services in the country and the largest in Louisiana.
