Woman’s Hospital Awarded One of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2025

Woman’s Hospital has been named one of America’s Best Maternity Hospitals 2025 by Newsweek and Statista. Receiving the highest designation of five ribbons, this is the third year in a row Woman’s has received this award. It is only given to hospitals nationwide with outstanding performance in the specialty of maternity care.

“Thank you to Newsweek and Statista for this incredible honor,” said Woman’s President and CEO Rene Ragas. “This is especially gratifying to receive after we recently celebrated the significant milestone of delivering our 400,000th baby. As our work continues, we could not be more grateful to our patients and their families for trusting the care our dedicated team consistently provides and for having their commitment recognized in this way.”

The award is based on three pillars:

  • Hospital quality metrics
  • Patient experience surveys
  • Recommendations from healthcare professionals

The America’s Best Maternity Hospitals ranking is announced each year and focuses on high quality maternity care provided from pregnancy through birth and postpartum. Thousands of medical professionals were invited to participate in the survey. The categories include five ribbon hospitals (182) and four ribbon hospitals (262).
