Woman’s Named One of Newsweek’s 2025 World’s Best Hospitals Five Years in a Row
Woman’s Hospital has been named one of the 2025 World’s Best Hospitals and a Five Year Champion by Newsweek. This is the fifth consecutive year that Woman’s has been recognized for excellence in infection prevention and patient experience in the specialized areas of gynecology and maternity care. Woman’s was also recognized as a leader for Patient Satisfaction.

Newsweek’s World’s Best Hospitals ranking serves as a resource to help patients make informed, data-driven decisions when selecting the right hospital for their medical needs. The award is presented annually and is based on recommendations by physicians and healthcare professionals across 30 countries. They review various indicators including patient experience, quality of care, hygiene, safety, medical outcomes and other quality metrics.

Woman’s is a specialty hospital for women and infants located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Since opening in 1968, it has welcomed more than 375,000 babies, making it one of the largest delivery services in the country and the largest in Louisiana.
