Amenities To help make the birth of your baby even more special, Woman’s Hospital has special amenities and services available. Bon Appetit – An Alternative Gift Selection: an intimate dinner for two, elegantly served in your room to celebrate your baby’s birth. Served between 11:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. for $49.95 plus tax per couple. Please order 24 hours in advance from any cashier in the cafeteria. Cash and most major credit cards are accepted. Menu: Soup du jour * Garden salad * Choice of Tender Beef Filet Mignon or Catfish Louisianne (baked or fried & topped with shrimp sauce) * Twice-baked Potatoes * Fresh rolls * Dessert du jour * Iced tea, water and coffee. Call 225-231-5351 for more information. Food & Nutrition Services – A number of services are available for you and your family. Mom is provided a restaurant-style menu from which to select her meals. Room Service is available to guests of patients between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 8:30 p.m. The charge is collected upon delivery, and is not added to the hospital bill. Cash and most major credit cards are accepted. Newborn Channel – We are pleased to offer the Newborn Channel in all of our rooms. This free television services features informative and entertaining programs on topics of interest to new parents. Tune into Channel 8. Woman’s Concierge Service – While you are in the hospital, we will be happy to assist you with special requests such as hotel reservation information, transportation arrangements, driving directions, questions about the Baton Rouge area, and much more.
Our Concierge Service professionals are available to assist you and your loved ones while you are in the hospital from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on weekends.

Pick up many of the products specially recommended by your Woman’s healthcare team of doctors and nurses, such as breastfeeding supplies and breast pump rentals. Plus, you’ll find a beautiful selection of infant clothing, including preemie items, and developmentally appropriate toys and books. Located on first floor of Physician Tower I. Call 225-231-5578. Pastoral Care & Chapel – A Woman’s Hospital Pastoral Services Chaplain is available to meet with people of all faiths, and can make regular visits to patients and their families.
