
| Generational DifferencesRegister online now to attend Wednesday, September 17, 2008 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, registration 7:30 AM Woman's Hospital, Baton Rouge, LA In recent years, extensive research has been done regarding the significance of an individual’s “generation” in terms of core values, work ethic, and motivation. Currently, the terms “Traditionalist,” “Baby Boomer,” “Generation X,” and “Millennial Generation” have been widely used as a means of describing key characteristics of each group. Target Audience This course is designed for nursing administrators, supervisors, middle managers, educators, staff nurses, and all other health care professionals who desire to update their knowledge of generational differences.
The purpose of this program is to provide a general overview of each generational group, as well as much needed insight regarding how this information can be used to understand behavior, improve communication between groups, and facilitate team building in work settings. Faculty 
Aimee T. Hansen is a leadership development specialist/consultant and executive coach at Woman’s Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Aimee has worked with many organizations to help them create meaningful, effective programs that support leadership development and has worked with individuals to develop leadership knowledge and skills.
