    Woman's Hospital, Baton Rouge, LA

In recent years, extensive research has been done regarding the significance of an individual’s “generation” in terms of core values, work ethic, and motivation. Currently, the terms “Traditionalist,” “Baby Boomer,” “Generation X,” and “Millennial Generation” have been widely used as a means of describing key characteristics of each group.

    Target Audience
This course is designed for nursing administrators, supervisors, middle managers, educators, staff nurses, and all other health care professionals who desire to update their knowledge of generational differences.

The purpose of this program is to provide a general overview of each generational group, as well as much needed insight regarding how this information can be used to understand behavior, improve communication between groups, and facilitate team building in work settings.
